Frequently asked questions

What is a policy which is not time-locked?

A non-time-locked policy on the Cardano blockchain refers to a token policy that does not have an "expiration date".

This means the policy does not impose a time limit on tokens minted or burned.

Policy owners can manage their tokens indefinitely, allowing them to mint new tokens or burn existing ones at any time in the future. This can done using the Cardano CLI command through simple transactions, providing flexibility and control over token supply.

Our service will soon offer the possibility to mint more tokens or burn some existing tokens with an open policyId.
